Congratulations!

On May 17, China achieved its seventh orbital mission of the year.
Using a 3C / G2 Long March, it placed the Compass G8 positioning satellite (BeiDou 45) in geosynchronous orbit.
Compass G8 is the twentieth and last element of the second-generation Beidou constellation, and its fourth backup satellite. The deployment of the Beidou 2 constellation began in April 2007.
